The Lingjiang Special Railway Bridge of Zhejiang Transportation Group Jintai Railway Project was built by the China Railway 11th Bureau Group. It has a total length of 4298.82m and a total of 109 piers. It is the largest bridge in the whole line, including 7 water piers. The deepest pile length in the water is 79 meters, set "high, big, difficult, new, deep, urgent, dangerous, heavy" in one, construction difficulty and security risks are great.
In order to build this bridge, thousands of bridge builders have fought over more than a thousand days and nights, creating a construction record of a section of the main span of continuous beams for 6 days. Today, the Lingjiang Bridge has been “smashed” in the air. It is extremely spectacular and has become the "most beautiful bridge" of the Jintai Railway.
The Jintai Railway is the first self-built electrified railway in Zhejiang Province and one of the “five horizontals” in the “two vertical, five horizontal and two radiation” patterns of the Zhejiang railway network. It starts from the Yongkang South Station of Jinwen Railway in the west, arrives in Taizhou City after going east through Jinyun, Wuyi, Yongkang, Chun'an, Xianju and Linhai, and finally connects to Taizhou Wenzhou Railway Station and Taizhou South Railway Station respectively. The railway has a total length of 226 kilometers (including the head gate branch line) and a design speed of 160 km/h. It is expected to be completed in 2020, and it will have a profound significance for the central and western Zhejiang.
