At 8 o'clock on June 27, with the completion of the concrete pouring of the last party, the south main tower of the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge, which was constructed by the China Railway Corporation, the design of the China Railway Bridge and the construction of the China Railway Bridge Bureau, was successfully capped. So far, the two bridges are up to 330m. The main tower was completed.

The Hutong Yangtze River Rail-to-Use Railway Bridge has a total length of 11072m, a main bridge length of 2296m and a main span of 1092m. It is the largest spanned cable-stayed bridge in China and the world's first super-km-long cable-stayed bridge. The bridge is the control project of the entire line of Hutong Railway. It is also a “three-in-one” function of the national railway, intercity railway and expressway. It is designed as the upper layer for the Hutong Railway, Tongsujia Intercity Railway and Xitong Expressway. 6 lane highway, lower 4 lane railway.

The steel used in the bridge project is about 480,000 tons, which is equivalent to the steel used in 12 "Bird's Nest"; the concrete is 2.3 million m3, which is equivalent to the use of 8 national grand theatres. The bridge is made of new materials such as Q500qE high-strength steel and 2000Mpa parallel steel wire stay cables. Its large scale of engineering, high construction difficulty, and a large number of scientific and technological innovations have created the world's bridges and many of China's bridge construction, representing the highest level of bridge construction in China and the world at present.
